Obituary for Robert H. D'Ambra Sr.

Robert H. D'Ambra Sr., 62 years of age, of Revere, formerly of East Boston, passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2017.

Beloved husband of Josephine “Josie” (Scoppettuolo) D’Ambra. Loving father of Lizz Marchese and her husband Leo, Robert H. D’Ambra Jr. and his wife Renee and Michael D’Ambra and his fiancé Tanya Stanley. Cherished grandfather of Johnathan, Julianna, Sophia, Alexis “My Chicken”, Preston, and Anthony. Caring brother of Vernon Palmer, Marion “Peggy” Rosa, Janet Nestor, Frank D’Ambra, Shirley Potts, and Jimmy D’Ambra. Adored nephew of Rose Locke. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will honor Robert’s life by gathering in Vazza’s “Beechwood” Funeral Home, 262 Beach St. REVERE on Thursday, March 30th from 4PM to 8PM and again at 9AM Friday morning before leaving in procession to St. Anthony Church in Revere for a Funeral Mass to be celebrated in his honor at 10AM. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett, MA. Robert was a Army Veteran during the Vietnam War.
