Obituary for Sabatino S. "Sam" Rossi

Sabatino “Sam” S. Rossi, 91 years of age, of Saugus, formerly of East Boston, passed away on Monday, April 10, 2017.

Cherished son of the late Girolamo and Theresa (Marmo) Rossi. Loving brother of the late Anna Giannusa and Frances LaRocca. Adored uncle of the late Vincent Giannusa. Also survived by one loving niece, five nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. Sam was a WWII Navy Veteran.

Family and friends will honor Sam by gathering in Vazza’s “Beechwood” Funeral Home, 262 Beach St. REVERE on Monday, April 17th from 4PM to 8PM and again at 8:30AM Tuesday morning before leaving in procession to Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Lynnfield for a Funeral Mass to be celebrated in his honor at 10AM. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett, MA.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Sam’s memory to Care Dimensions, 75 Sylvan St. Suite B-102 Danvers, MA 01923.
