Obituary for Donna M Placet (LeTourneau)

Donna M Placet, 66 years of age, of Dennisport, formerly of Revere, passed away on Sunday July 9th after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

Beloved wife of the late Armand R Placet with whom she shared 34 years of marriage. Loving daughter of Jane (Mulvey) Covino of Dennisport. A true testament of a mother’s love as she never left her daughters side.

Devoted mother of Doreen Placet Kobierski and her husband Adam of Peabody, Robert Placet of Revere and stepson Joseph Placet of Nahant.

Cherished grandmother “Nana” to Brendan and Sarah Kobierski and a special Auntie Donna to Emily Placet.

Dear sister of the late Gerard LeTourneau, Thomas LeTourneau and his wife Laura of Westwood and Regina LeTourneau of Florida.

Donna is predeceased by her father Reginald LeTourneau and her stepfather Renato Covino.

Also survived by many loving family and friends. Donna had a heart of gold and will be truly missed by all who knew her.

A special thank you to the Kaplan Family Hospice House (Care Dimensions) for walking us through this very difficult journey. Erik, Jackie and Juliette you were all an amazing gift to our family. The love, care and compassion you gave to our mother will never be forgotten. One last dance….

Family and friends will honor Donna’s life by gathering in Vazza’s “Beechwood”Funeral Home, 262 Beach Street, Revere on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm and again at 11:00am Thursday morning before leaving in procession to the Immaculate Conception Church, Revere for a funeral Mass to be celebrated in her honor at 12 Noon. Committal will be private.
