Barbara E. (Hamilton) Poirier, 83 years of age, of Everett, formerly of Revere, passed away on Saturday, March 31, 2018.

Cherished daughter of the late Henry and Mary E. (Bird) Hamilton. Loving mother of Daniel Rogovich of Winthrop, Sue Russell of ME, Kevin Poirier and his wife Dina of East Boston, Kelly Truax of CA, William Poirier of Everett and the late Barbara Rogovich. Adored grandmother of 11 and great-grandmother of 19 and great-great-grandmother of 3. Caring sister of Ruth Hamilton and her partner Joan Thomas of Everett and the late Henry Hamilton, Jeannette Loughman and Phyllis Hamilton. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will honor Barbara’s life by gathering in Vazza’s “Beechwood” Funeral Home, 262 Beach St. REVERE on Sunday, April 8th from 2PM to 6PM and again at 8:30AM Monday morning before leaving in procession to the Immaculate Conception Church in Everett for a Funeral Mass to be celebrated in her honor at 10AM. Interment will follow at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody, MA.

Barbara taught us how to love through her unconditional love. Everything she touched became more beautiful through her love and creativity. Her silly sense of humor and sweet laugh will forever be etched in our hearts. She loved Jesus and her family with all heart, mind and soul. Until we meet again in Heaven.
