what an amazing person

Grandpa Toppi is greatly missed. He was such a loving and caring person and loved life! I have the best memories of him. First time I met him was in Saugus as he stormed in to the kitchen one morning with a big smile on his face. One hand was holding a box of dounuts fresh from Dunk'in Donuts. The other hand held a loaf of Italian bread. He welcomed me to the family with open arms and soon we were outside checking on a pair of tennis shoes in the back of his car. They were his latest buy: a good deal and he wanted me to check if they would fit me. They did not unfortunately but it was just one example of his care and love and geneorisity. I miss those visits to Revere beach with him and grand mother. There are many funny and lovely stories. I have to say also that his athletic abilities always amazed me. He was so fit and loved exercise. In the 80' he was doing aerobics and biking. He loved the beach. He loved good, healthy food. He was such an example that left a mark in our hearts that will be there forever. Looking forward meeting him in heaven one day! I Corinthian 13 is a chapter that I want to dedicate for his memory. Love you great grandpa Toppi!
